R&D work and looking at the needs of the world market Tanis Food Tec has developed a very well controlled process for making Mallow both for extrusion as for depositing. Depending on the area in the world there are many biscuit products which are combined with Mallow. Within western Europe, biscuit sandwiches are 90% cream filled and only 10% Mallow filled. In other areas, it is the mallow sandwiches which are leading. Turkey, Mexico, Korea the Mallow sandwiches are much bigger in sales volume then cream ones.

In 1992 Peter Tanis officially started Tanis Food Tec (TFT) after having spent a decade working as a Sales Manager for Mondomix. By doing so he became a second generation entrepreneur in continuous food processing, following in both his uncle’s and father’s footsteps who had founded the Ter Braak Confectionery company.
