IBA 2021 -> postponed to October 2023
The organiser of the world fair iba, the GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmesse mbH, postpones iba 2021. The upcoming event will take place from 22 to 26 October 2023 in Munich. The background is the unclear development of the success factor internationality and the claim to give the industry a global offer and long-term planning certainty.
The leading world trade fair for bakery, pastry shop and snacks cannot take place as planned from 24 to 28 October 2021. In view of the still uncertain forecasts, especially with regard to the central success factor of internationality, the GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmesse mbH has decided by consensus and in close coordination with the sponsoring association and the industry representatives of the trade fair to move it to the year 2023. In view of the uncertain development of the pandemic with ongoing global travel restrictions as well as the condensed trade fair market situation worldwide in the coming year, the implementation of the iba in 2022 will not be considered to be effective for all parties involved.
